WBM Groundworks Ltd has recommenced its operations and is now operating across each of our active sites where it is practical and safe to do so.

This decision was taken after honest and frank discussions  with our clients and the undertaking of thorough Health and Safety assessments of each of the active sites

Safety is of paramount importance to us and it is vital that the health and safety requirements of any of our construction activities are not compromised at this time.

We will continue to operate fully in alignment with the latest government guidelines and under extra extensive health and safety protocols.

As we are temporarily closed, the WBM Groundworks LTD Directors have raided the stores to see what supplies we can donate.

2 large boxes of JSP FFP3 facemasks are off to help our wonderful NHS and community workers in their battle against COVID-19 and help get the country running again.

Update

5 boxes have gone to Parkland care home in Exeter, 5 boxes to Newcombes Surgery and 10 boxes to Southwest Ambulance Trust.

Further to our recent update regarding Covid-19, we are writing to advise you on changes we have reluctantly had to make.

WBM Groundworks Ltd fully understands that everyone is worried about Covid-19 and our priority is the health of our workforce, sub-contractors, supply chain and of course our clients.

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister Boris Johnson and the on-going advice from the Government, WBM Groundworks Ltd are with immediate effect ceasing all its operations.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this causes to our clients but we are sure that everyone fully understands that this decision is in the best interests of our employees, clients and the country.

We will of course closely monitor the situation and it is our intention to return to full operational capacity as soon as is physically possible. 

We would like to thank everybody for their continued support and we recognise that this action will unfortunately cause some inconvenience, however we are sure you understand the reasons behind this decision.

Following on from being awarded ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System accreditation in 2017 WBM Groundworks Ltd has now upgraded from OHSAS18001:2007 to ISO 45001:2018 Health & Safety Management System.
